This is a finished project for a liiittttle baby. I used this pattern (thanks Purl!) and this yarn.  This is the same yarn from the previous washcloths, and can probably be made from the leftover yarn. So as a follow up project, it was: handy, lightweight, easily washable. Deal. I also used this pattern as an introduction to some new techniques and forewent the embroidered and contrast details Whitney employed in an attempt to make the project easier. Now i realize I would have been fine and you will too. GOOD LUCK! erin
